Jahad Daneshgahi

Following the decree of the Great Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini - Quds Sarh - dated 23/3/1359 regarding the formation of the headquarters of the Cultural Revolution, the aforementioned headquarters, in the meeting dated 16/5/1359, in order to realize the goals of the Cultural Revolution, organized a university jihad as He established a revolutionary institution born from the cultural revolution. After the headquarters was transformed into the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, the constitution of this institution was revised on 11/9/1365 and it was approved by removing the duty of participation in the administration of universities and emphasizing cultural and research activities in order to Islamize universities.
Once again, the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, considering the new conditions of the universities, approved a resolution on 22/8/1369, in which the university jihad was introduced as a bridge between the university and the industrial and service sector of the country. In this resolution, the two main tasks of conducting scientific research and cultural activities are still the responsibility of this institution. Based on this resolution, the new constitution of Jihad University was approved by the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution as follows.
Jihad University is a public and non-governmental institution under the supervision of the Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution, it has an independent personality and is administratively, employment and financially subject to regulations that are approved by the Board of Trustees of Jihad University within the framework of legal authority.
