Description of duties of the brand manager:
A brand manager is a person who evaluates the perception and image of the brand in the market and helps to improve recognition and loyalty to the brand by using interactive and marketing tools. This person is responsible for creating an identity and creating a competitive advantage for the brand. Managing tangible elements (price, packaging, website design, logo, etc.) and intangible elements of the brand (value proposition, loyalty, etc.) is also one of his key duties.
Responsibilities and duties of the brand manager include:
• Planning and implementing branding research, including evaluation of brand health indicators (brand associations, loyalty, etc.)
• Identify key marketing and advertising trends
• Budgeting for branding activities
• Designing and implementing branding strategies
• Designing and implementing branding campaigns
• Updating the brand identity according to market conditions, business needs and audience attitudes
• Monitoring the implementation and success of advertising campaigns
